Quaker Peace and Social Witness

Quaker Peace and Social Witness (QPSW), known in the past under the name of British Friends Service Council , is an organization depending on the British branch of the religious Société of the Friends, more known under the name of Quaker .

Based in the United Kingdom, it aims according to the practice Quaker to promote the equality, the Justice, the Paix, the simplicity of life and the Vérité.

It obtained in 1947, with the American Friends Service Committee (also related to the Quakers), the Nobel Prize of Peace for its actions towards the Civil S victims of the Second world war.
