Quévy-the-Large is a village of the commune of Quévy in Belgium

The church dedicated to Saint Pierre was built at the 15th century, offering a frame with carved beams. Bell-tower carrying bearing the year 1720.The castle of Warelles, was inhabited by Behault de Warellles. This locality was originally a dependence of Quévy-the-Small. The abbey of Épinlieu and the chapter of Holy-Waudru had goods there. Quévy was set up in commune in 1720.
The church, formerly help of Quévy-the-Small, was set up in branch in 1803. The seigniory of Warelles extended on the territories from both Quévy, Bougnies and Havay. Part of the territory, which contained the stronghold and the castle of Gontreuil, forms today a dependence of the village of Gognies-Roadway (France). One found there the seigniory of Cheny, the stronghold of Jauche and a stronghold named Saulchoit.
