Qinmindang

The Qinmindang (親民黨 “ left the people in first ” or People First Party ) is one of the 4 great parties Taiwanese.

Qinmindang forms with the Kuomintang the side-blue Coalition, and signed in May 2005 of the agreements of reunification between Taiwan (République of China) and continental China (Popular republic of China) with the Chinese Communist party, establishing a zone of free trade of goods and people between the 2 parts of the strait, and declaring Taiwan, autonomous province.

They are opposed in that to the side-green Coalition made up of the Minjindang, “democratic party progressist” of the Taiwanese president, the Union for the solidarity of Taiwan (TSU), and of the Party for the independence of Taiwan (TAIP).
