Qinling mounts
The Monts Qinling () are an important assembly line of the central China, which extends from is in west on close to 1 500 km. They form the principal physical barrier between the valley of the Rivière Wei (principal affluent of the Huang He or Yellow River) in north and the plain of the Sichuan in the south. Their more high summit is the peak Taibai (3 767 m).
They are the refuge of rare animal species, in particular of the Panda of Qinling, the only recognized subspecies of pandas.
