Qarqar

Qarqar is an archeological site in the North-West of the Syria. A very great battle (the Battle of Qarqar) proceeded there in 853 av. J. - C. between Salmanazar III, king of Assyrie and a coalition of princes. One second battles there have bond in 720 av. J. - C.
