Qantara

Qantara is a Magazine Trimestriel of French language devoted to the culture Arab and published by the Institut of the Arab world.

Created in 1991, Qantara car its name of the Arab word which means “the bridge”, “the footbridge”, “the arch”. This magazine of 82 illustrated pages has the role of making discover the cultural richness of the Arab and Mediterranean world.

Each quarter, its arts pages, literature and cinema give an account of the cultural and artistic topicality of the Arab world. In complement, the central file approaches a topic of topicality or history related to the Arab world. Other headings treat voyages and Mediterranean kitchen.
