QDevelop
QDevelop is a free Environnement of development integrated for Qt.
The goal of QDevelop is to provide in the most used environments, Linux, Windows and Mac OS X of a tool making it possible to develop in Qt in the same way with a single IDE. Because each one of these systems has environments of development powerful, much more powerful than “the small” dedicated IDE. But the great disadvantage is that they function only in their respective operating system. Let us quote well-sure Visual Studio under Windows and Kdevelop under Linux. Very powerful but also limited to only one system.
QDevelop is not a KDevelop imitated or reduced. It is a IDE dedicated to Qt4 completely independent of KDevelop. Less complete, but faster, light and especially multi-platforms. Moreover, QDevelop and KDevelop have a completely different source code.
It also integrates the tools Qt-Designer for the creation of graphical interface and Qt-Linguist for the support of internationalization.
The development of QDevelop began in 2006 with Jean-Luc Biord and was developed with the API Qt of Trolltech.
