Pyramid of Athribis
The pyramid of Athribis is a provincial pyramid formerly located at Athribis, in the Delta of the Nile in Egypt. This pyramid, before its disappearance under the modern city of Banha, was most septentrional of the pyramids of Egypt.
Exploration and Description of the monument
One owes the discovery of the pyramid of Athribis with the scientific expedition of the Campagne of Egypt carried out by Napoleon at the end of the 18th century.
