The pyramid is a construction whose form approaches the geometrical object of the same name.

Ancient monuments

Civilizations précolombiennes (Aztec S, INCA S, Mayas…), as well as the Egyptian civilizations, created many pyramids, of religious use of Temple or burial.

Most famous are probably the Pyramides of Egypt in particular the Pyramide of Khéops.

Contemporary achievements

This shape was regained at the end of the 20th century by Jean Balladur for the realization of Large- theMound.

With San Francisco (California), the architects of the Transamerica Pyramid (built in 1972,260 meters) chose to treat in a futuristic way the shape of the pyramid….
