The pylore is the area of the Estomac which connects it to the Duodénum. It is divided into two parts: the cave of the pylore , which connects it to the body of the stomach, and the channel of the pylore , which connects it to the duodenum. The Sphincter of the pylore, or Valve, is a powerful ring of smooth muscles at the end of the channel of the pylore and allows the passage of food of the stomach the duodenum.
A medical problem involved in the pylore is the Sténose of the pylore.
In states like the cancer of the stomach, when tumors can block partially the channel of the pylore, a special tube can be established by surgery to connect the stomach to the duodenum to help food to pass from the one to the other. pyloric stent ". -->
