Pygopodidae
The pygopodidae form a family lizards without legs which one meets in Australia and in Indonesia.
These are reptiles to which appearance is close to the Serpent S, with legs absent (with share an osseous vestige of basin), and being able to reach a little more than one score of centimetres for largest Espèces. They are diurnal (although sometimes credits the evening), oviparous animals, and consume various Arthropode S and of small reptiles.
Classification
It seems that this family in fact is connected with the family of the geckonidés (Holy and Al , 1998), but remain in a distinct family at present because of their great difference in aspect.
