Puyi

Aixinjueluo Puyi (February 7th 1906 - October 17th 1967), known under the name of Puyi (溥儀, Pinyin pǔyí ) but also called Xuantong , it was it twelfth and last emperor (末代皇帝) of the Dynastie Qing, which reigned then on the China. He is the son of the prince Chun, seventh wire of the emperor Daoguang. He was born in the thirty-second year from the reign from the emperor Guangxu.

He is crowned at only three years, according to the wish of the empress Douairière Cixi, whereas the imperial court is in full disorder. The revolts of Wuchang, the September 10th 1911, pushed it to abdicate the February 12th 1912, putting fine at the Qing dynasty and the feudal period. In spite of the proclamation of the Republic of China, it obtained government to be able to continue to reside a few additional years in the prohibited Cité, before being about it expelled by the authorities in November 1924.

The latter ended up placing it at the head of the Manzhouguo, under the name of emperor Kangde , in 1934.

Captured by the Soviet in 1945, which off-set it with all its family in Siberia, it will be delivered in 1949 to the communist Chinese who will intern it in the “camp of rehabilitation for war criminals” of Fushun until the end of the Années 1950. Released, it will be intallera with Beijing on authorization of President Mao, and will find in 1959 an use of simple gardener to the Botanical garden of the city. Then, within the “political advisory Conférence of the Chinese people” with wages of 100 Yuan S per month will become librarian, before becoming itself member of this institution in 1964. It will thus remain it until its death which has occurred in 1967, following a Cancer of the kidney.
