Puyang
Puyang (濮阳; Pinyin: Púyáng) is a city of the North-East of the province of the Henan in China. It is located on northern bank of the Yellow Fleuve.
History
Recognized like one of the birthplaces of the Chinese nation Han, Puyang has a long story which goes back to close to: 5000 years. The city changed name several times during the centuries and of the millenia. Thus, it was the State de Kunwu during the dynasty Xia, the capital of the State of Wei during the Period of Springs and the Falls, the county of Puyang during the dynasty Qin, Chanzhou during that of the Song, Kaizhou during the second dynasty Jin and returned in the name of Puyang in the Popular republic of China.Several major historical events took place with Puyang. During the Period of Springs and Falls, the city was host with fourteen resumptions of conferences between the sovereigns of the time. Moreover, it was in the middle of several battles like those of Chengpu (between the Kingdoms of Jin and Chu) and that of Maling (between the Kingdoms of IQ and Wei).
Thanks to its flourishing agriculture and with its economy, Puyang was a center political, economic and cultural important during the Qin dynasties and Han. The city was coveted besides by several lords of war towards the end of the Han dynasty.
In the year 1004 of our era, the treaty of Chanyuan was signed there between the empires Song and Liao, establishing a peace which lasted more than 100 years.
Demography
The population of the Comté of Puyang was of: 307900 inhabitants in 2002, whereas that of the city-prefecture of Puyang was on the whole of: 3585600 inhabitants in 2004.

- the county of Qingfeng - 清丰县 Qīngfēng Xiàn ;
- the county of Nanle - 南乐县 Nánlè Xiàn ;
- the county of Fan - 范县 Fàn Xiàn ;
- the county of Taiqian - 台前县 Táiqián Xiàn ;
- the county of Puyang - 濮阳县 Púyáng Xiàn .
