Thus, they are poët in the Dauphiné (Poët-Laval, Poët-Sigillat…), pog , pueg , puech , peuch or pech in Occitanie (Pech-Montat, Puech de Montgrand, Pueg Gerjant), puig in Catalonia (Puig de Campcardos, Puigmal)… In Occitanie the word is in the beginning many Patronymes, such as for example Delpech, name running meaning " literally; puy".
