Pushed
In Aerodynamic, the thorough is the force exerted by the displacement of the Air brewed by a Moteur, in the opposite direction of advance.
Pushed exerted by a standard reaction engine Rocket engine
The push or more exactly the force of thorough is the result of the ejection of the particles constituting the Gaz ejected towards the back of the rocket. In fact, the push is the result of the conversion of the thermal energy fascinating birth in the combustion chamber of the engine and transforming into kinetic energy at the time of the way of the gas flow throughout the Tuyère.
Thermically speaking, the push depends on the conditions of pressure and temperature to the hearth of the Moteur.
The relation giving the value of the force of push is the following one:
- F , pushed in newtons (NR)
- ve , speed of ejection of gases in m/s
- qm , mass throughput in kg/s
- A1 , surface of the section of exit of the conduit in square meters
- P1 , pressure at the exit of the Pa conduit
- Pa , environmental pressure or Pa
- ve , speed of ejection of gases in m/s
This relation is simplified when P1 = Pa and becomes F = ve . qm in this precise case one says that the conduit is adapted or that the mode of operation is adapted. It is in this mode that the Moteur of rocket has its best output.
Variation of pushed with altitude
If one writes the formula of thorough in the following way:
- F , pushed with altitude H
- F0 , pushed with the sea level
- P0 , pressure with the hearth
- Ph , pressure with altitude H
- A1 , surface of exit of the conduit
- F0 , pushed with the sea level
The study of this relation shows us that indeed, the push varies with the Altitude and that the section of exit of the conduit will be all the more large as the engine will be designed for high altitudes.
