Punxsutawney is a town of Pennsylvania located at 106 km in the North-East of Pittsburgh. It comprised 6.271 inhabitants in 2000.
Famous for the festival of the Day of the marmot, the February 2nd, which was used as a basis for the history of the film One day without end and for that of the film Planqué in spite of him of John Ford.
