Joaquín Without there Almenar known as “Punteret” , born with Xàtiva (Spain, Province of Valence) the October 10th 1853, died with Montevideo (Uruguay) the February 28th 1888, was a Spanish Matador.

Presentation

He presents himself to Madrid like Novillero the January 9th 1881 then is made Banderillero in the Cuadrilla of Ángel Pastor. The January 3rd 1886, with Seville (Spain), it takes an alternative first with like godfather, Luis Mazzantini and like witness “El Espartero”, vis-a-vis bulls of the Ganadería of Saltillo. The May 23rd 1886, with Valence, it takes one second alternative with like godfather “Lagartijo”. It confirms this alternative to Madrid the October 10th of the same year with like godfather “Frascuelo”.

The February 26th 1888, in the arenas of Montevideo, during the installation of the Banderillas, it is seriously wounded by the bull “Cocinero” of the Ganadería of Gift Felipe Victoria. He dies in Montevideo two days later.
