Puno is a city of the south-east of the Peru, located on banks of the Lac Titicaca. It is the capital of the Région of Puno and the Province of Puno.

According to the tradition, Puno is the cradle of the Civilization INCA: the first INCA, Manco Capac, would have left water of Titicaca on the orders of the God-Sun to found the INCA Empire.
