Punish Yourself

Punish Yourself is a group of industrial Metal French originating in Toulouse which occurs as much on the scenes metal, that Gothic or Electro in exuberant behaviors, raising make-up fluorescent entirely recovering their bodies, and exhibant a taste pronounced for the macabre one. Asserting influences as varied as Iggy Pop, Ministry or the Techno hardcore, Punish Yourself is placed at the crossing of various extreme movements, and gathers a heteroclite public, attracted as well by visual extravagances of the group as by its music in charge of references. Sometimes shown of a certain over-simplification, the group however knew to venture out of the beaten paths, in particular with their instrumental album, " Cult Movie" , which must more with the Kraut-Rock'n'roll and the film musics that with the traditional industrial rock'n'roll.

Let us note also the project 1969 Was Fine, gathering the current members, musicians, of Punish Yourself. And the solo project of vx69 Cheerleader 69 (neo-classic/ambient).
