Pumping station relay

A Pumping station relay has as a role of recomprimer the Pétrole during its flow in the Oléoduc to compensate for the Pressure loss along the thousands of kilometers which they traverse.

The power of the compressing S set up depends on the configuration on the ground, victim or not, of the distance between the two relay stations and also according to the density and the viscosity of the crude. Generally, the residual pressure at the entry of the compressor should not be lower than the capacity of aspiration of this one. As very often a pipeline crosses areas desert, canicular or cold, all this unit is controlled remotely by computer and in an automatic way.
