Pump converter of load
The converters with pump of load (of the translation of English Load Pump Converter ) or converter with transfer of load belong to the family of the converters continuous - continuous of the electronic of power.
They are devices realizing of the very fast changes of connection between condensers in order to obtain at exit a tension different from that of the entry. They used in the field of the low powers (a few Watts)
Example: The figure below represents the principle of an assembly which, while rocking of states 1 to 2 and reciprocally, with a cyclic Rapport of 0,5 makes it possible to divide the tension V E by 2. If one inverts V S and V E, one obtains a lapping machine of tension.
This type of converter can provide in exit only one power equal to a simple fraction of the tension of entry:
- V S = K . V E, with K = 1/2; 1/3; 2/3; 3/2; 2/1,…
