Pulvérières

Pulvérières is a common French, located in the department of the Puy-de-Dôme and the area Auvergne. Pulvérières belongs to the urban surface of Clermont-Ferrand.

History

Pulvérières became a commune with whole share by dismemberment of the commune of Chapdes-Beaufort, following the law of December 2nd, 1881.

Presence at the village of Espinasse of the first maquis of Auvergne, during the Second world war. A plate pays homage to the resistant today killed by the Germans in this place on March 1st 1944.
