Puget mount

The Mount Puget , named in the honor of the famous sculptor and archictecte Marseilles Pierre Puget, is the culminating point of the Calanques between Marseilles and Cassis, located at the south-east of Marseilles. It reaches the altitude of 565 meters with-dessu level of the Mediterranean.

Geology

Like the majority of the Marseilles hills, it is made of rocks Calcaire S.

Climbing and walks

Often neglected by the tourists, more attracted by the creeks and the sea, the Puget Mount can get interesting ballade and climbing ways.

A very good track, which was arranged for the firemen, conduit at the top. However, one can also climb directly by several " voies".

One of those is in fact a fall, with a slope of 45 degrees.
