Puerto Ayacucho
Puerto Ayacucho is the political capital and more big city of the state of Amazonas to the Venezuela. It was founded the December 9th 1924 by the engineer-geologist Santiago Aguerreverre . It is located on the banks of the Orénoque, opposite the Colombian village of Casuarito.
In 1997 its population was of approximately: 70000 inhabitants, for the majority of the Mongrel of indigenous and Spanish stock.
