Puck Brouwer
Bertha van Duyne-Brouwer known as Puck Brouwer , born the October 29th 1930 with Leidschendam and deceased the October 6th 2006 with Oostvoorne, was a Athlète Dutchwoman which especially ran on 200 m.
It achieved its first great international result in 1950, gaining a money medal out of relay to the championships of Europe. Its coéquipières had as a name Xenia de Jong, Gré of Jongh and Fanny Blankers-Koen.
It represented the Netherlands with the Olympic Games of summer of 1952 with Helsinki, becoming Olympic vice-champion there on 200 m behind the Australia Marjorie Jackson.
With the championships of Europe of 1954 with Bern, it gained a third money medal, this time over 100 m. It was also member of the Olympic team of the Netherlands for the Olympic Games of summer of 1956 with Melbourne and was in Australia when the Netherlands decided Boycott er the plays.
