Pucará de Tilcara
The Pucará de Tilcara is a built fortress it there more or less 900 years by the Tilcaras Indians, subgroup of the Omaguaca S, and this in the province Argentine of Jujuy.
It is located at the south of the town of Tilcara, on a precipice, with 80 meters with the top of the river Río Grande of Jujuy, in a strategic point of the canyon of the Quebrada de Humahuaca. It was rebuilt at the beginning of ruins and currently constitutes an important tourist attraction, especially since it belongs to the World heritage of Humanity, being located in Quebrada de Humahuaca. One can see there districts of dwelling, a necropolis and a place intended for the religious ceremonies.
