Publio Fausto Andrelini
Publio Fausto Andrelini (1450 - 1518) was a modern Latin poet of the Renaissance.
Biography
Born with Forlì, in Emilie-Romagna, Publio Fausto Andrelini obtained as of the 22 years age the poetic crown with Rome. It came to Paris in 1488, with the cardinal of Gonzague, and taught there the Belles-lettres until its death.
He enjoyed the protection of Charles VIII, Louis XII and of, and celebrated these princes in a great number of poetries.
There are of him Élégies (Paris, 1492), erotic Poésies (Venice, 1501), and moral Distiques (Paris, 1519).
