Publicator
Resulting from the world of CAM, the Publicateur is the person in responsibility of manage leading contents (text-images) in order to adapt it and to prepare it for a diffusion, i.e. on several distribution supports.
The publicator has a very good knowledge of the graphic chain and can apprehend the technical constraints related to the various media. He can respect the conceptual standards imposed by the directors of creation and the computer graphics experts in order to follow the graphic charters, such as they were defined by the Customer.
The CAM is its field and, for this reason, has a perfect knowledge of the page layout, typography and management of the color.
Its language of predilection is XML, language data-processing which attempts to describe the contents and not the presentation. The publicator can thus differentiate leading contents from an element of pure approval of presentation. All the difficulty of its work thus lies in this preoccupations with a differentiation in order to produce a file XML, validated by a DTD, and to transmit it in all serenity to the various speakers of the communication Cross-country race-media.
It thus generates its file XML starting from a space finished (communication paper - 2 dimensions) to adapt it to an infinite space (Web - N dimensions), which is simpler to currently realize.
But in the future, and since the advent of the platforms of edition, the publicator will position as an administrator of such systems, being made the coordinator of various the intervants groupware.
