Public works
The term public works applies, in opposition to private work, with the public Infrastructures:
- road work , shoed, river or harbor as well as the dependant works (Bridge S, Quay S, etc),
- various networks, in particular Cleansing and Drinking water, with the factories of associated treatment.
The building owners of public works are generally people of public law (State or local government agencies). In France, they are then subjected to the Code des Marches Publics and their dispute raises of the Administrative law.
One also speaks about public works for achievements of comparable nature under private control of work, Parking S of supermarkets, Voirie S of factories, etc
A public Travail is a maintenance or installation, building work on a real estate value, carried out by a public administration for its account with an aim of general interest, or pursuant to a public service mission.
