Public service of employment

The public service of employment is the unit formed by the single one or the multiple organizations and agencies installation by the Public administrations, with an aim of supporting the Emploi and professional training, and of fighting against the Chômage.

In France

The public service of employment is distributed between multiple speakers: ANPE, Unedic (and Assédic), Association for the professional training of the adults (AFPA), regional managements of Work, the Use and the Professional training (DRTEFP) of each area, and departmental managements of Work, the Use and the Professional training (DDTEFP) of each department.

In the United States

With the the United States, United States Employment Service ( ) is the federal agency which deals with the employment services.

In the United Kingdom

With the the United Kingdom, Jobcentre Plus ( ) result from fusion into 2002 from old Jobcentres, of the “social security benefits offices”, and of the agency “Benefits Agency” which distributed the allowances unemployment.
