Pu Songling
蒲松齡 Pu Songling (June 5th 1640 - February 25th 1715) is a Chinese writer of the Dynastie of Qing. Author of the famous collection of the strange Tales of the studio of the chatterer (聊齋志異), written in traditional language in the tradition of the chuanqi (傳奇) of the Dynasty of Tang.
Deeply marked by its happy marital experiment with the Liu young lady, Pu Songling liked to tell marvellous and extraordinary stories of union between well-read men and " femmes" supernatural. Indeed, at its time the feelings in love were not usually taken into account to be able to link itself. On the contrary it was current to be satisfied with marriages arranged between the families.
From his work, a character is detached from the others. Recurring in the tales, the Woman-vixen, is for Pu Songling, the " rectifying of torts" in love and in the social life. In the majority of his tales, the hero well-read man knows at the same time the true love with a woman fox and at the same time success with the examinations and contests administrative.
