The psocoptères ( Psocoptera ) are one of Insecte S, of the Ptérygote S, section of the Néoptère S, the Hémiptéroidé S.

They have a development of the type Hémimétabole.

One knows of them traces Fossile S going up with the Permien (it there 248 to 295 million years) and more than 5500 species was described, divided into 41 families and three sub-orders. The majority were very recently described.

The representative of this kind is the Psoque whose size seldom exceeds six millimetres. These winged species live on the Feuille S of the Arbre S and seem to nourish more Champignon S Parasite S that foliar fabrics. Certain species with the more or less developed wings live under the bark S or under the stones and nourish Lichen S, of Moisissure S and remains various. The species Aptère S settle in the dwellings and attack old papers. These last are known under the name of lice of the books , and their predator is the Pseudoscorpion.
