Pseudoscalaire

A pseudoscalaire (or pseudo-scalar ) is a scalar Quantité which is distinguished from a Scalaire by the way in which it is transformed through an application of a discrete Groupe. For example, the mixed Produit of three Vecteur S is not invariant by an indirect isometry, for example a axial Symétrie: it changes sign. A pseudoscalaire can direct a vector, which makes of this product a Pseudovecteur. In Theoretical physics, the “magnetic load” of a magnetic Monopôle behaves like a pseudoscalaire

In Physique, one also speaks about Particule S pseudoscalaires , by abuse language, since actually it is that one property of the particle, the such Charge, is a pseudoscalaire quantity.
