A pseudo-fossil is an object of origin Inorganique, unspecified structure or Minéral, which resembles sufficiently a Fossile to lend to confusion.

Example: the Dendrite S caused by certain phenomena of mineralization, which can resemble plants.

All the pseudo-fossils are not natural origin: one counts also the counterfeits and reproductions, whose certain parts are the subject of a black-market.
