He is the son of Zélas, king of 243 Av J.C with 230 Av J.C approximately, and the grandson of Nicomède Ier.
Prusias marries Apama III, the girl of Démétrius II king of Macedonia. It carries out a war against Byzance in order to extend its influence on the Straits.
