Prunelli-di-Fiumorbo
Prunelli-di- Fiumorbo (I Prunelli di Fium' orbu in Corsican Language) is a common French, located in the department of the Haute-Corse and the Corsica area .
Geography
The commune Prunelli di fiumorbo extends from the river Fiumorbo in north to the hamlet of Casamozza in the south, this commune of intermediate size goes from the very close mountain which it divides with the communes of Isolaccio and of Tightened to the sea.
History
In the years 1930, a company of exploitation forestiere, the FORTEF, a true rise of the commune allowed, thus, it was one of the first in Corsica to have electricity. A port had been arranged in the mouth of the Fiumorbo and it could accueuillir a steamer for the transport of wood, of the pieces of furniture were also manufactured and exported.
