Prum
Prum (in German: Prüm ), 6 031 inhabitants (2001), is a city in the North-West of the Land of the Rhineland-Palatinat. It is located in the Eiffel, which is the oriental party of the the Ardennes. The river éponyme which it cross-piece is a tributary of a tributary of the the Moselle.
It is by the Traité of Prüm (probably signed with the castle of Schüller) that Lothaire Ier divided in 855 the Lotharingie between its three sons. It was made then monk and died shortly after in the abbey of Prüm.
