Province of Sékong
The province of Sékong is populated and one of poorest of the Laos. It is estimated that in the province, 25% of the children do not reach the 5 years age.
It was formed in 1983, by separation of with the Province of Saravane. Its capital is Sékong, on the river of the same name.
