Province of Parinacota

The Province of Parinacota is a province of the Chile, pertaining to the Région of Tarapacá, ell is surrounded in north by the Région of Tacna to the Peru; in the south by the Province of Iquique; in the east by the Bolivia; and in the west by the Province of Arica. Its capital is Putre. It has a surface of 8 146,9 km ². Its population was of 3.156 inhabitants (2 106 men and 1.050 women), in 2002.
