Province of Milan
Province of the town of Milan of almost 3,8 million inhabitants. A part has just been detached about it to form the Province of Monza and Brianza.
Borders in north with the Province of Varèse, the Province of Like and the Province of Monza and Brianza, in the east with the Province of Bergamo, the Province of Casement bolt and the Province of Lodi, in the south with the Province of Pavia, in the west with the Piedmont (Province of Novare).
Geography
The territory of the Province of Milan is located in center-Western Lombardy, in the high part of the Plaine of Po, is included/understood between the river Tessin with the west and the river Adda in the east. The territory is crossed, apart from Adda and of Tessin, by a series of minor rivers (Lambro, Olona), and " toile" Milanese navigable channels (Large Channel, Martesana Channel, Pavese channel).
