Areas of Peru The province of Lima , also called Lima Métropolitaine by the Peruvians is governed by the regional government program of Lima Métropolitain (PGRLM) according to the decree N° 254 of April 24th, 2003.

This province has 42 districts:

* the town of Lima, itself divided into 2 districts: Lima cercado and Lima industrial
* the constitutional province of the Callao.
