Province of Khon Kaen
The is located in the north-eastern area of the Thailand.
History
The first city of the area was founded in 1783 when Rajakruluang is established there with 330 people. The king Rama I made of Rajakruluang the first governor of the area. The principal city changed site with six recoveries since, finding its site final with Nuang Kawhe in 1879. Khon Kaen became the administrative center at the beginning of the 20th century.
