Province of Guadalcanal
The province of Guadalcanal is one of the provinces the Solomon Islands. It is consisted the island of Guadalcanal (5 358 km ²). Its population was of 109 382 inhabitants in 1999. Its capital is Honiara, also capital of the State.
It was the theater, during the Second world war, of the Bataille of Guadalcanal.
