Province of Flanders-Eastern

The Flanders-Eastern (Dutch: Oost-Vlaanderen ) is a province of Belgium located in Flemish Région.

It is located in north, between the provinces of Flanders-Western, Antwerp, Brabant-Fleming and Hainaut.

Chief town: Ghent is more the big city. A governor, 6 deputies.

River: the the Scheldt. Rivers: the Lily, the Dendre, the Durme, the Zwalm.

History

It is the old territory of the Ménapiens, then located at the edge of the North Sea.
