Province of Cuenca

Situation

The province of Cuenca is a central province of the Spain, located in the part Is the Autonomous Community of Castille it Manche. It is bordering on the provinces of Valence (located in the Autonomous Community of Valence), Albacete, Ciudad Real, Tolède, Guadalajara (located in the Autonomous Community of Castille it Manche), Teruel (located in the Community of Aragon) and Madrid.

In 2002,202 715 people lived in this province. Its capital is the town of Cuenca (Spain), where lives nearly a quarter of the total population of the province. This one consists of 238 communes.
