The Province of Corogne ( has Coruña in Galician and Coruña in Spanish) is a province of Galicia, located at the north-western point of Galicia and also of the Spanish State. Its limit in north is the Cantabric Mer, in the east the Province of Lugo, in the west the Atlantic Ocean, and in the south the Province of Pontevedra. The capital (place chief) bears the name éponyme has Coruña.
