Province of Ciego de Avila

Ciego de Ávila is one of the provinces of Cuba, and was attached before to the Province of Camaguey. It has as a capital Ciego de Ávila, crossed by the Carretera Central (central road).

The northern coast is made up of sand banks. These islands were developed thanks to the Tourisme and particularly the islands of Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo. The southern part is made up of Mangrove S.

One finds between the town of Morón and the coast of north several lakes, including the Laguna de Leche (the milk lake, with its white aspect because of large layers of underwater limes) which is more natural big lake of Cuba.

The center of the province is used for the breeding of the Bétail, elsewhere one cultivates the Sucre, the Ananas and the Agrume S.
