Province of Chachapoyas
The province of Chachapoyas is one of the 7 Provinces of Peru which composes the Région of Amazonas to the Peru. It is limited
- to north by the provinces of Luya and Bongará,
- in the east by the Région of San Martín and the Province Rodríguez de Mendoza,
- in the south by the Région of San Martín,
- in the west by the Région of Cajamarca.

The province was populated of 53 644 inhabitants in 2002 (estimate).

The capital of the province is the town of Chachapoyas, also the capital of the area.
