Province of Caserte
Italian province, in the area of Campania. The provincial capital is Caserte.
Blazon
The Province of Caserte has its clean Blason (and Étendard) dated April 18th, 1951, recognized by the Presidential decree of the Republic.
Heraldic description of the blazon
Of blue color, with the two horns of plenty of gold décussées in the lower part, introduced into a crown of " marquis" ( marchionale ), full with short-nap cloth edges, that of right-hand side containing of ears of grain and that of left containing of the fruits, the whole with the naturalness.
External ornaments, characteristic of the " provinces" , i.e circle of decorated gold with the smooth edges at the ends, containing two branches, one of bay-tree and the other of oak, with the naturalness, outgoing of the crown, crossing and falling down towards outside.
The branch of oak indicates the force and constancy. The branch of bay-tree indicates the nobility and glory. The branches are tied by a ribbon with the national colors, i.e of green, white and red.
