Province of Carbonia-Iglesias
The province of Carbonia-Iglesias , also known as province of the Sulcis and Iglesiente, is a new province of the autonomous region of Sardinia, created by a regional law of 2001, by detaching 23 communes of the Province of Cagliari.
Both chief town of the province will be, as from May 2005, Carbonia and Iglesias.
